Job description

We are seeking experienced APS4 Administration Support Officers for a Federal Government department, located in Greenway ACT. The contract is up to 12 months which includes paid leave and 15.4% superannuation.

APS4 Administration Support Officers provide administrative and operational support to the business teams, working under the support and general direction of senior staff.
 
What you will do:
  • complete administrative functions to support the work of the team including ensuring compliance with policy and processes
  • assist with monitoring group mailboxes
  • develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • ensure the timely progression of applications to support trauma informed best practice
  • demonstrate self-awareness and ability to self-manage in a complex, changing environment whilst in a diverse team with high workload in a high-risk environment.

  • communicates confidently and presents messages in a clear, concise and articulate way
  • applies legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements.
Offers and Payments role specific:
  • Use Case Management system to code an Independent Decision Maker’s determination
  • Draft documents and use information sources available for accuracy
  • Print letters for posting
  • Monitor group mailboxes and ensure progression of allocated work
  • Support process for documents being moved into Case Manager and the validation of these documents
  • Retrieval and storage of hard copy applications from our stakeholder
  • Support progression of acceptance documents for applicant payments
Applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship at time of application and hold a Baseline security clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold a Baseline must be able to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.
