APS5 Executive Assistant
My client is seeking a suitably experienced APS5 Executive Assistant.
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide direct support to the Executive. It is highly likely that the Executive will be in another location.
Deliverables
Based within the Parliamentary Triangle, this position will have the flexibility to Work From Home and in the office.
About you
You’re a strong administrator with extensive experience working as an Executive Assistant in a virtual and remote environment. You’ll be able to demonstrate your expertise in the use of MS Suite, including Outlook and MS Teams along with Expense8 Travel & Expense Management system or similar.

Deliverables
- Providing high level administrative and coordination support, including managing, and organising meetings, briefings and events and anticipating and managing competing commitments.
- Administering finance support (including, corporate credit card acquittals), and advising, arranging, and reconciling travel in line with the department’s travel policy for staff on request.
- Undertaking a broad range of other corporate and administrative support functions across the division as required.

- Organising and prioritising workloads and applying analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver on outcomes within set timeframes, and the ability to seek out and identify relevant information and advice where required to achieve this.
- Working collaboratively and cooperatively and establishing and maintaining productive working relationships within the team.
- Displaying an important level of professionalism, championing the behaviours in line with the Australian Public Service Values and Code of Conduct.
- Communicating clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and delivering clear, concise messages to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.
- Current Police check – within the last 3 months.
- Available to commence by the 30th of September.
