Job description

The Opportunity 
We are looking for an APS5 Procurement Reporting Officer to join a large Federal Government Agency for a 12 month assignment.
The APS5 Procurement Reporting Officer shall provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation. The position will be required to undertake analysis, reporting activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident.

Duties include:
  • Manage all corporate master data.
  • Developing and maintaining procedures for data collection, input, management and quality control.
  • Work with the business, interpreting Corporate Service data, designing and implementing tools and programs for enhancing scheduled and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Working with external agency to improve the availability, accessibility and quality of Corporate Services data.
  • Develop data visualisations for senior executives and business areas.
  • Provide content, advice and support for agencies regulatory and legislative reporting requirements.
  • Develope a suite of corporate reporting tools to support branch reporting.
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate:
  • Experience in procurment sector, knowdelge in policy advice, perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, being able to write succinctly across communications platforms and for different audiences.
  • Building cohesive relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage the co-design procurement activities encouraging diverse views to work collaboratively towards mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in maintaining procedures for data collection, input, management and quality control
  • Maintaining thorough and auditable records and documentation.
  • Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • SAP ESSentials and JIRA user experience and knowledge would be highly desirable.
