The Role:
The APS5 Project Officer will organize their workflow and make independent decisions. The role includes providing policy advice, interacting with stakeholders, and handling complex inquiries.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with project management and coordination, monitoring and reviewing activities against plans.
- Contribute to the development and management of project plans and schedules in line with the Agency’s project management framework.
- Provide advice, procedural guidance, and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
- Conduct research and prepare reports.
- Draft business cases, plans, executive briefs, and other corporate documentation.
- Monitor project budgets, review and report on expenditures, and assist with procurement and contract management.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and benefits.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client needs.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project and business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination.
- Strong ability to provide policy advice and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in research, report writing, and budget monitoring.
