Job description

Our client has multiplate opportunities for Outreach Program Coordinators.  This role would see you collaboratively managing and coordinating the regions Outreach Program through liaison with management and staff through various avenues.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team & provide assistance to the community.

As an Outreach Program Coordinator some of your duties will include:

  • Promoting services to potential new contract counsellors
  • Direct provision of high quality clinical services including initial intake, assessment and referral, evidence based counselling, case management as required.
  • Coordinating and participating in selection, orientation and sourcing of experienced counsellors
  • Compliance checking and continuous improvement activities
  • Providing clinical liaison and support for contractors in private practice
  • Organise training and professional development for Open Arms contract counsellors to value add to their experience of working with the organisation.
  • Liaising and forming partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  To be successful you will have:
  • Experience as a fully registered mental health clinician either a Psychologist, Social Worker (or eligible to apply for Mental health accreditation), Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist (must be AHPRA or AASW registered)
  • Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance held and maintained while employed
  • Australian Citizen
In return you will receive:
  • A competitive hourly rate of up to $65 per hour + super

  • Full time hours – Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week (however, 4 days per week maybe considered)
  • 12 month contract with the view to extend of up to 3 years
