APS6 Senior Recruitment Officer
  • $60 to $68 per hour + super  
  • Canberra – Possibility of remote or regional
  • 9-month contract + 6 Month Extension

About the role
My client is seeking a suitably experienced APS6 Senior Recruitment Officer.
 
As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and execute end-to-end recruitment processes. This role requires a keen eye for talent, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role will also be required to perform other HR responsibilities from time to time, depending on workflow and volume.
 
Deliverables:
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Utilise various sourcing methods to attract candidates.
Location: Option to work from one of several offices located across the Murray Darling Basin, or fully remote.
 
About you
You’re a seasoned Recruitment Specialist with exposure to APS Recruitment, either within the APS or from a Recruitment Agency or Consultancy background having supported recruitment for the APS.
 
To be successful you will need:
  • Experience with eRecruit is preferred however if you have extensive experience with other Applicant Tracking and Recruitment systems this will be advantageous.
  • Exceptional Coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven track record in developing effective recruitment strategies.
  • Experienced in end-to-end recruitment.
