About the Role:
- You will deliver a diverse range of minor and major capital projects, supporting fit-for-purpose and sustainable accommodation and facilities across a statewide asset portfolio.
- You’ll manage the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design through to delivery and completion, ensuring best practice standards and value for money outcomes.
- Lead and manage multiple capital works and facility management projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
- Prepare project documentation including scopes, feasibility studies, design briefs, risk registers, and budget estimates.
- Engage and consult with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and external agencies.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and opportunities (including sustainability initiatives), and provide regular reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, government policies, and safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and contribute to strategic planning.
- Highly developed project management skills in a large asset portfolio or capital works environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent and complex projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, assess risks, and deliver innovative solutions.
- High level of emotional intelligence, integrity, and teamwork.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and workplace health & safety.
Essential Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction management, trade, or a relevant discipline.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Australian work eligibility and ability to pass a criminal history check.
