Job description

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for experienced Project Managers to join the Service Design team. This is a 12 month contract and can be based in Richmond or Geelong. 

The Project Manager is a leadership position and will assume responsibility of leading projects within the service design team. 

Responsibilities include; 
  • Developing, managing and implementing project plans and schedules 
  • Contributing to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration
  • Ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget
  • Researching, reviewing and evaluating projects
  • Regular project reporting 
  • Preparing and reviewing written material including business cases, plans, reports and executive briefs and corporate documentation.
  • Undertaking budget management, monitoring expenditure and overseeing procurement and contract management activities

To be considered for this role you will demonstrate; 
  • End to end project management experience with the ability to adapt project management skills to meet the needs of the organisation and the requirements of the PMO 
  • Strong networking and influencing skills 
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Strong written communication skills 
  • Experience in Government or Disability would be advantageous
