Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Fremantle, WA
12-month contract, 40 hours/week (Monday to Friday)
$62.94–$79.46 per hour (flat rate, based on qualifications)

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operations of our occupied buildings, common user areas, and associated grounds. Reporting to the Civil Maintenance Superintendent, this role is pivotal in ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the single point of contact for all facility maintenance issues.
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance across cleaning, furniture, building layout changes, air-conditioning, fire services, water/sewage, and more.
  • Engage and coordinate contractors for building and site services.
  • Prepare scopes of work, manage work requests, and ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee cleaning and water management contracts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare Job Safety Analyses.
  • Maintain and update asset registers and inspection reports.
  • Set up and manage furniture inventory and service meetings with stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in Facility Management, Civil, Building, or Construction.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Strong project supervision and contract administration skills.
  • Extensive experience in building maintenance and facility management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, scopes of work, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and WHS regulations.
  • Valid ‘C’ or ‘CA’ class driver’s licence (vehicle provided for site visits only).
