Governance Officer – Immediate Start (3-Month Contract)
Location: Cloverdale
Rate: $59.00 per hour (includes casual loading) +super
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Governance Officer to join their team on a short-term contract. This role requires flexibility, as some after-hours work (evening weeknights) will be required.
You will play a key role in supporting governance processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile agendas and accurately take minutes for meetings.
  • Assist with governance documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Interpret and apply legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Utilise DocAssembler (preferred) and other governance tools.
  • Provide support across governance functions within a local government environment.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in compiling agendas and minute-taking.
  • Previous governance experience, ideally within local government.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
  • Experience with DocAssembler (highly regarded).
