Job description

 We are seeking two experienced Information Services Officers to join an Information Release Unit within a South Australian Government agency. These roles are critical in supporting the release of information in line with established standards and legislative requirements.
 
About the Role

As an Information Services Officer, you will:
  • Process Victim of Crime applications and government agency requests for information.
  • Review and interpret information requests, search agency holdings, and determine appropriateness of release under established guidelines.
  • Manage correspondence via Microsoft Outlook and ensure accurate record-keeping in the agency’s EDRMS.
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of Information Sharing Guidelines, Information Privacy Principles, and related legislation.
  • Experience with records management systems (e.g., Content Manager or similar).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate systems efficiently.
  • Previous experience in information management within government or private enterprise.
