Key Responsibilities:
As our Safety Coordinator, you will:
- Develop and implement Health & Safety Management Plans (H&SMPs)
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and verify risk management effectiveness
- Coordinate training requirements and ensure compliance
- Lead incident response and investigations
- Manage health and hygiene initiatives, ensuring health risks are mitigated
- Perform operational control checks, inspections, and verifications
- Oversee contractor safety management
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities
- Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement
- Manage injury cases and support return-to-work processes
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- BWTM & TC qualifications
- Experience in collecting specimens for alcohol and drug testing
- White Card (or Blue Card if obtained prior to 2010)
- ICAM Lead Investigation certification
- Ability to operate and maintain a 4WD vehicle
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Mobile Plant qualifications
