Job description

Client: NSW Government (details TBA)
Hours: full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Sydney/WFH (hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + extension/s
Pay Rate: $900 per day + superannuation
Checks: WWCC, references, police check, full working rights

Highly skilled SAP UI5 and ABAP developer is required to work with a highly motivated and dynamic technical team of UX designers and SAP technical specialists to convert UX wireframes into a technical solution. The SAP UI5 developer will be required to work with UX designers and take the design to technical realisation.

Candidate Profile:
  1. 5+ years in modern ABAP with OOPs concepts
  2. comprehensive exposure to SAP Fiori, Fiori Launchpad (incl. routing, navigation & Shell services)
  3. thorough expertise in SAP UI5, incl. coding best practices, ESLint, Chrome/IE/Firefox debugging tools
  4. experience writing code SAP BW routines & also writing CDS views
  5. experience working on Financial Planning models
  6. multiple project experiences in delivering UX capabilities using SAP Fiori guidelines
  7. sound knowledge of Java, CSS, HTML5, JSON, XML, AJAX, JQuery
  8. proficient with OData concepts & consumption of OData in SAPUI5 apps to perform CRUD operation
  9. sound communication skills, a proactive approach, flexibility and a commercial mindset will be highly desirable
