Job description

Our State Government is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their Payroll Processing team within the Payroll Services business unit in Brisbane CBD. This team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll and establishment services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and validate end-to-end payroll and establishment transactions accurately and on time
  • Provide business support including data entry, spreadsheeting, and word processing
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Identify, recommend, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships
  • Deliver high-quality customer service
  • Manage competing demands and deadlines effectively
  • Contribute to an accountable, fair, and safe work environment
