DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Specialist (Payroll Analyst) to join our Government Client team.
Role responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP Payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, superannuation, and labor regulations.
- Manage payroll calendars, pay periods, and off-cycle payments.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to analyze payroll needs.
- Translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications.
- Document payroll taxonomies and business rules.
- Review data field mappings and support data transformation.
- Create value mapping tables and validate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Coordinate with business users to confirm data accuracy.
- Design and execute test scenarios, including PPRTs and UAT.
- Validate payroll results, leave accruals, and financial postings.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies and support integration testing.
- Provide post-go-live support during hypercare.
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues and risks.
- Develop and update functional documentation and user training guides.
- Participate in SAP patches, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Assess change impacts and ensure smooth payroll process transitions.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate payroll reporting.
- Maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance.
