We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to work in a contract role till February 2025.
Our State Government Client has been supporting and empowering QLD families since 1916 with financial decision-making advocacy, education and services to support them as they plan and prepare for key life events.
About the role
Working in a small but supportive and collaborative team, this role delivers a range of People/HR/ER services, including HR advisory and consultancy services, particularly in the areas of industrial and employee relations, complex case management, performance management, industrial instruments, and HR policy and procedures.

- Provide advice to managers, and employees, to support the effective and consistent delivery of human resource business partnering services
- Interpret and apply public sector legislation, directives, policies, procedures, and agreements to manage complex and sensitive employee matters
- Succession planning
- Performance and development planning
As Senior HR Business Partner, you will be valued for your sound knowledge of employment and HRM relates legislation, client-centric approach, and your ability to demonstrate Vision, Results and Accountability.
- Qld State Government experience highly regarded
- While not mandatory, an undergraduate or higher degree qualification in Human Resource Management Discipline would be highly regarded.
