  • 6 months initial contract with the possibility of extension
  • $650 per day + super
 
Our Client is Australia's independent regulator for online safety. Their purpose is to help safeguard Australians at risk from online harms and to promote safer, more positive online experiences.
 
The Role: 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Senior Marketing Advisor will work collaboratively with the marketing team and other program areas across the organisation to deliver on strategic priorities and awareness targets. You will also be responsible for developing and leading marketing strategies and contributing to monthly reporting.
 
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional and a strategic thinker, who is highly organised and motivated with a demonstrated ability to work flexibly as part of a team, and to tight deadlines. You enjoy dynamic work environments and thrive in a fast-paced, small and productive team.
 
Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies which effectively target the relevant audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and support direct reports, encouraging positive work
  • Proven ability to apply professional knowledge and provide specialist advice which support and actively builds on the strategic direction of
  • High-level written communication skills, including editing and developing print and digital materials including marketing collateral, creative briefs, web copy and social media
  • Ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner, tailoring communication style and message to the audience while following style conventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders, respond positively to stakeholder needs and expectations, identify opportunities, achieve outcomes, and facilitate cooperation.
  • Experience analysing and interpreting data sets for reports and to evaluate and optimise marketing
  • Ability to brief and guide creative processes and outcomes relating to
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing and analytic tools including Google Analytics and Campaign Monitor or similar.
Key Requirements: 
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role with marketing, events and communications
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in communications and marketing
  • Experience in technology, safety and/or gender-based policy
  • An understanding of online safety landscape and
  • Experience working in government
