Key duties and responsibilities
- Working closely with business stakeholder, understanding, discovering, defining, validating, prioritising and continuously managing business requirements.
- Translating business needs into clear and comprehensive technical specifications.
- Synthesising business and technical requirements and concepts and presenting them in clear and straightforward terms.
- Providing input during the design phase, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals.
- Facilitating workshops and perform business analysis activities including business process modelling, business and solution requirements lifecycle management, and data modelling.
- Assisting team members with effectively documenting the systems and solutions that the team develops, delivers and maintains.
- Working with an outcome focus, demonstrating an ability to effectively challenge the business while retaining a customer focus.
- Continuously monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
The role will suit someone with:
- Strong experience in Site/Service Reliability Projects.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in complex IT projects.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI, Github Actions would be highly desirable.
