Job description

Our client, within state government is looking for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their busy team on a 3-month temporary assignment from 4th July 2022.

You will have experience providing administrative support across a range of areas and teams.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing a range of administrative support across both payroll and HR
  • Preparation of reports using the Microsoft suite – including the use of charts, pivot tables and creating text templates
  • Interpreting and analysing data for reporting (HR and Finance)
  • Raising invoices and purchase orders using S4/HANA
  • Develop business processes and work practices in accordance with legislation, standards, and policies
  • All general administrative support as required by the team
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have high level computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within
  • Experience using S4/HANA will be highly regarded
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a National Criminal History check.

What’s on offer:
  • 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • WFH 1-2 days per week
  • Great hourly rate $50.98 + superannuation
