Our state government is seeking an AO3 Procurement Support Officer to join the team from 19 January to 26 June 2026, with a possible extension.
Position Overview:
The role provides procurement, purchasing, administrative, and contract management support to stakeholders. You will assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring procurement procedures, guidelines, and standard forms, while maintaining document control in line with Quality Assurance. Responsibilities include processing purchase and work orders, supporting procurement-related projects, producing reports, and coordinating contractor meetings and training sessions.
The successful candidate will maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental procurement requirements, promote procurement awareness across the department, and contribute positively to team culture.
