DFP Adelaide are seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract, supporting a high-volume, complex portfolio with one of our State Government clients.

Working closely with senior leaders, you will deliver high-level HR business partnering services across workforce planning, employee relations, change management and organisational development. You will play a key role in supporting leaders through complex and sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational HR advice to executives and senior leaders
- Partner with leaders to deliver workforce planning and organisational objectives
- Lead and support complex employee relations matters including grievances, misconduct, underperformance and investigations
- Support restructures, organisational design and change initiatives
- Interpret and apply awards, legislation, enterprise agreements and public sector policy
- Contribute to workforce projects, HR initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Build trusted, professional relationships across a diverse stakeholder group
- Proven experience within State Government (essential)
- Health sector experience preferred but not essential
- Strong background managing complex employee relations and industrial matters
- Confident advisor at executive and senior management level
- Highly organised, resilient and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Able to work independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
- Police Check and Working with Children’s Check, both valid within 6 months
