Job description

Our State Government client is seeking AO5 Project Officer for an early June start to 30 August 2024, with possible extension. This onsite role (5 days in the office), you will work within a team environment to plan, review and implement business activities and projects focused on workforce planning, analytics, and recruitment to enable a capable and change-responsive workforce. You will work with other project officers, internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes and support business activities.
 
As the Project Officer, you will:
  • Provide administrative support to government recruitment processes (e.g. form processing, review of advertisements, interview bookings).
  • Support workforce planning and staffing requests – including through management of internal communications (incl. group mailbox)
  • Follow and maintain procedures to support broader workforce function.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with staff and leaders. 
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Experience coordinating government recruitment processes. (ideal)
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High-level of attention to detail, including with drafting advertisements, processing forms, and communicating with applicants
