Our State Government is currently seeking an AO6 Project Manager on a contract from 3 November 2025 to 30 June 2026. The role requires a high level of skill, leadership, and professional knowledge in delivering project management services for building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of building projects, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction, ensuring quality, cost, time, and scope objectives are met.
- Coordinate project staff, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Provide high-level contract management across traditional and non-traditional systems.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders regarding operational and project matters.
- Conduct project audits, monitor team performance, and generate exception reports for time and cost variances.
- Support senior management in determining fees, billing approvals, and project financials.
- Lead negotiations with consultants, authorities, internal stakeholders, clients, and contractors to deliver value-for-money solutions.
- Apply professional expertise to add value and ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
Skills & Experience:
- Leadership, coordination, and project management experience.
- Strong contract and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite highly desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, Quantity Surveying) is highly regarded but not mandatory.
