Job description

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an APS5 Program Support Officer. This is a 18 month assignment and will be full time hours, Monday to Friday. The role is APS5 and will be paying $53.63 per hour plus super. This role can be based in either Geelong, Sunshine or Box Hill. 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to;
  • Providing technical expertise across a range of programs or activities including systems and people performance, financial, staff lifecycle, knowledge and change management to contribute to business unit outcomes
  • Assisting with maintaining process and documentation relating to service delivery, ensuring alignment to legislation and policy
  • Coordinating and analysing data and written information for the purposes of drafting high level internal and external communications including reports, advice, presentations and communications for Ministerial, Parliamentary and executive responses.
  • Assisting with the collation and audits of workforce planning data, reporting on staff lifecycle and confirming against financial, systems and people performance data
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience within a similar roles 
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Experience within Health Sector and/or working with people with disability.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
