About the Role
As a Service Technician – Mechanical, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs, overhauls, and maintenance on compressed air equipment and generators. This role requires a hands-on professional who thrives in challenging environments and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in air compressors and generators using diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs and scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, cleaning coolers, and re-greasing motors.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including JSA completion and PPE usage.
- Travel within Australia and occasionally internationally for service calls.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or field service environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Australian Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with pneumatic equipment and compressed air systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
