Service Technician – Mechanical (Immediate Start)

Are you a skilled mechanical technician looking for an exciting opportunity with immediate start? Join our dynamic Service team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment and associated products. This is not a FIFO role and you must be currently living in Kalgoorlie.

About the Role
As a Service Technician – Mechanical, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs, overhauls, and maintenance on compressed air equipment and generators. This role requires a hands-on professional who thrives in challenging environments and is committed to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in air compressors and generators using diagnostic tools.
  • Perform repairs and scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, cleaning coolers, and re-greasing motors.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, including JSA completion and PPE usage.
  • Travel within Australia and occasionally internationally for service calls.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or field service environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Australian Manual Driver’s Licence.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with pneumatic equipment and compressed air systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
