Job description

  • Contract until August 2023 with possibility of extension
  • $58.50 per hour + super
  • Surry Hills, Newcastle and Wollongong Locations
The APS6 Insights and Reporting Officer will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development for this Federal Government Client.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation activities to provide information on engagement outputs, outcomes, and impacts.
  • Delivering analysis, insights, and recommendations to support teams and decision-makers to make evidence-based and data-informed decisions.
  • Improving the communication of data through creative storytelling and visualisation to multiple audience groups.
  • Producing reports and dashboards to monitor performance, outcomes, and impact of engagement activities.
  • Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.
  • Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
  • Using analysis tools and software (e.g. NVivo, Power BI).
You will have:
  • Design qualitative and quantitative research in a marketing, communications, or engagement context
  • Analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to develop insights
  • Support business areas to develop, implement, and measure outcomes and impact
  • Present data to a variety of audiences, including data visualisation and accessibility
  • Prepare written materials such as reports, dashboards, business cases, and briefing notes.
  • Living or personal experience with individuals living with disabilities is highly regarded.
