DFP Recruitment is a preferred supplier of choice to Federal Government departments and agencies. I am partnered with a large Federal Government Agency to recruit for an APS6 Production Coordinator.

This role is based in the Adelaide CBD and sits within the Agency’s Digital Media Department. As the APS6 Production Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing video and social media content production. This includes engaging with business areas to understand briefs, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and coordinating outputs, consents, and approvals. You’ll also help shape the future of this function by developing the documentation and processes that support its success.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating planning, logistics and schedules for multi-format content production
  • Managing shoot requirements, location access, and production resources
  • Working across content teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables align with campaign goals
  • Liaising with business areas for reviews, feedback and approvals
  • Ensuring all required consent and accessibility documentation is completed and archived
  • Supporting senior team members with logistics, reporting, and day-to-day coordination tasks
  • Helping maintain production records and contribute to regular team reporting
  • Develop strong networks and positive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • End to end project management and stakeholder coordination

About you:
  • Hands-on experience coordinating video and content production, ideally with Australian government or large organisations
  • Strong organisational and logistical skills with a clear understanding of end-to-end content production
  • A proactive communicator who can manage competing priorities and support multiple stakeholders
