Role Overview:
The APS6 Project Officer will play a key role in the Service Design Division, focused on enhancing participant outcomes and experiences with disability services. This role involves designing and delivering solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Agency priorities. The division emphasizes co-design, stakeholder perspectives, and transparency to improve service interactions and effectiveness.

Role Overview:
The APS6 Project Officer will play a key role in the Service Design Division, focused on enhancing participant outcomes and experiences with disability services. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage project plans and schedules in line with the Agency’s framework.
- Provide specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.
- Conduct independent research and prepare draft reports on project activities.
- Coordinate regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.
- Prepare draft written materials, including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documents.
- Monitor project budgets, review expenditure, and assist with procurement and contract management.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and benefits.
- Contribute to project quality management to ensure deliverables meet client needs.
- Maintain and update Service Design and Improvement (SDI) confluence and intranet pages.
- Support the development and maintenance of artefacts.
- Provide ad-hoc support to teams and squads.
- Offer technical expertise across various programs, including systems and people performance.
- Coordinate information for high-level internal and external communications, reports, advice, and presentations.
- Assist with workforce planning data audits and report on staff lifecycle and performance.
- Implement innovation initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate and contribute to strategic planning and short-term objectives.
- Develop plans and objectives for both immediate and long-term initiatives.
