Asset Accounting Officer
Hourly Rate: $56 p/h +super
Hours: 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week
Location: East Perth, WA
Contract Type: Temporary contract until Dec 2025, possible extension
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Asset Accounting Officer to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a keen interest in infrastructure capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and prepare capitalisation of completed infrastructure capital works projects.
- Liaise with Project Managers to obtain road infrastructure data for project close-out.
- Review and analyse financial data in Oracle Projects Module and Road Asset Capitalisation system.
- Prepare project and general ledger journals.
- Generate and interpret reports using Oracle.
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with accounting systems, particularly Oracle.
