Corporate Services Officer – Maryborough, QLD

About the RoleAs the Corporate Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting regional operations by delivering high-quality services across a broad range of corporate functions. You will work closely with regional leaders and employees to ensure smooth business operations and contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support on human resources, financial, and facilities management matters.
  • Assist in the implementation of systemic priorities and initiatives across the region.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant legislation and departmental policies.
  • Maintain and improve administrative systems and processes.
  • Prepare reports, submissions, briefing materials, and correspondence.
  • Oversee office equipment maintenance, stock supplies, and procurement activities.
  • Deliver responsive and effective corporate services to internal stakeholders.

  • Processing invoices for payment, including generation of purchase orders
  • Providing purchasing and procurement advice
  • Processing kilometric claims
  • Purchasing assets and managing asset registers
  • Processing SAPA payments to schools

  • Allocating assets to staff and conducting asset stocktakes
  • Fleet management
  • Ordering stationery
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Providing information management advice
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in corporate services, preferably within a government or regional setting
  • Strong communication and advisory skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • High level of organisational and administrative capability
