Planning and Assessment Coordinator - East Perth WA – 6 months with poss. ext. 

Our state government client is seeking an experienced Planning and Assessment Coordinator for an initial 6-month contract with possible extension. 

Rate: Based on previous skills and experience 
Duration: 6 months with possible extension 
Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week 
Location: East Perth, WA 
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading to be included in rate) 

Title: Planning and Assessment Coordinator   
About the role: 
  • Coordinating the delegation and reviewing various applications and referrals as well as general planning enquiries.  
  • The documents can be submitted to the client directly by applicants and through a variety of stakeholders (i.e. Local Governments).  
  • A wide selection of systems are used to research and provide thorough responses in relation to these queries.  
Required Skills, Knowledge, or Experience 
Essential:  
  • Research, analysis and problem-solving skills 
  • Building and enhancing stakeholder relationships 
  • Understanding of traffic and transport planning policies and systems used  
Desirable:  
  • Obtained (or working towards) a Diploma in Engineering or Planning or another relevant discipline 
  • Work experience within the public sector 
Pre-Employment Requirements: 
  • Full working rights within Australia 
  • Current National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months)
