                    Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer contracts end-to-end using Queensland Government systems and DRFA guidelines.
- Monitor financial reporting and service delivery to ensure compliance and appropriate use of funds.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Grants Management to develop contract management plans.
- Provide advice to funded organisations and departmental staff on contract administration and DRFA compliance.
- Conduct financial eligibility and compliance assessments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across government and community networks.
- Maintain records, trackers, and reports; respond to audit queries.
- Escalate contract disputes appropriately to preserve positive relationships.
- Represent the department professionally at stakeholder forums.
- Prepare written materials including reports, briefings, and correspondence.
- Perform other duties as required.
About You
- Proven experience in end-to-end contract management (preferably in human/social services within the public sector).
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- High-level stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Desirable: Experience in procurement and grant management; understanding of DRFA and Queensland Disaster Management Arrangements; ability to quickly learn relevant legislation and frameworks.
