DFP Adelaide is recruiting on behalf of a leading South Australian construction organisation delivering high‑quality residential and commercial construction services. We are seeking an experienced and capable Project Manager to support continued growth and operational excellence.
About the Role
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy in estimating, adherence to compliance standards, and effective delivery across multiple concurrent projects. This position requires strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a commitment to professional integrity.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage project delivery from contract award through to practical completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and supporting project staff.
• Lead construction program development and ensure key milestones are met.
• Oversee contract administration, including claims and variations.
• Conduct site visits and maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality obligations.
• Support pre-construction functions including estimating, take‑offs, and documentation review.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and efficiencies.
• Maintain accurate project records in collaboration with administrative teams.
About You
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the construction sector.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive mindset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining commercial focus.
Requirements
• Construction White Card.
• Current driver’s licence.
Desirable
• Experience managing multi‑storey projects.
• Knowledge of risk‑management frameworks.
• Exposure to BuildLogic or similar project management software.
