DFP Recruitment is hiring for one of our Federal Government clients, which promotes and protects Australia’s international interests to support our security and prosperity. Our client collaborates with international partners and other countries to tackle global challenges, increase trade and investment opportunities, uphold international rules, maintain regional stability, and assist Australians overseas.

The Salesforce program within the Federal Government has been running since 2019 and is responsible for a wide range of new and ongoing work. This includes consular and crisis support for Australians overseas, the implementation of trade sanctions and governance, and the management of Australian student scholarship programs, among other initiatives. We are seeking motivated professionals to join our dynamic team in delivering a sustainable Salesforce ecosystem to manage a complex and varied workload.

Role Overview:
As a Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients to elicit and define their business requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and Salesforce technology. You will gather and document business workflows, data, and requirements, and collaborate with the Solution Lead to design effective solutions. You will communicate acceptance criteria to Salesforce developers and testers, ensuring high-quality implementation and assurance activities. Additionally, you will support and enable users, manage data (including data loading and manipulation), prepare reports, and deliver solutions using configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research into clients’ business requirements, and elicit and analyse business needs.
  • Understand clients’ data and assist with data modeling.
  • Understand clients’ business processes and prepare BPMN modeling.
  • Collaborate with the project delivery team to transfer knowledge of business requirements for design, implementation, and testing.
  • Enable users to onboard and maximize their use of the Salesforce platform.
  • Engage in governance processes to ensure designs are aligned with best practices.
  • Implement approved change requests for low-risk changes (e.g., creation and maintenance of reports, housekeeping, etc.).
  • Support problem and incident determination and resolution activities.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce technology and its capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data modeling and BPMN modeling.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience working in a government or large-scale enterprise environment is preferred.
  • Australian Citizenship with NV1 Active clearance is mandatory.

If you are a motivated professional with the required clearance and skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's mission and enhance your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
