DFP Recruitment is hiring for Technical Business Analyst role with one of our Federal Government client. Release Manager will support the program delivery by providing a detailed technical implementation schedule and associated status reports. The role will also work with the testing and engineering teams to define the environment management plan and ensure the release planning incorporates environment constraints or considerations.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Managing a detailed project schedule, ensuring all technical implementation and release activities are accurately captured with linked dependencies.
  • Identifying and managing dependencies between the responsible delivery objectives and other project or business areas.
  • Assisting Delivery Managers with maintaining project schedules that are consistent and high quality.
  • Supporting the Delivery Lead with producing regular program reporting by ensuring project schedules are kept accurate and current in line with program reporting cadence.
  • Identifying and escalating potential conflicts or issues within delivery schedules enabling Delivery Managers and the Delivery Lead can take preventative action.
 
Essential criteria
  • Demonstrated expertise creating and maintaining a detailed project implementation schedule with linked dependencies, including environment management
  • Demonstrated expertise co-ordinating implementation and/or release activities across a program with a meticulous level of detail
  • Demonstrated expertise producing program level status reports that highlight schedule health based on proximity .
  • Experience co-ordinating technical release activity across multiple delivery streams to provide a single integrated program release schedule
  • Experience working with and positively influencing internal and external stakeholders to autonomously identify, and overcome, delivery risks and issues
  • Ability to understand and extract technical implementation task details from technical experts, preferably in a Data Lake or Data Warehouse implementation conte.
