Our client is seeking the services of a well presented and well organised Administrative Officer to join their Department in Broome. This is a temporary contract for initially 3-4 weekswith the possibility for extension.

Working within a fast paced and dynamic department, you will be responsible for a range of duties from word processing, handling department enquiries from the general public, document control, assisting the customer service team, records management, and assisting the department with day to day administrative tasks.

The desirable person will need to be able to hit the ground running and have previous experience with Content Manager System (CMS).

Essential skills and experience:
  • An excellent understanding and proven ability with using Content Manager Systems (CMS)
  • A welcoming demeanour and natural ability to provide assistance.
  • Ability to pick up new computer systems in a accurate and timely manner.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team in a busy office environment
  • Highly competent computer and keyboard skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi task
  • Attention to detail
  • Current unrestricted “C” class drivers licence
  • Current Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
