  • Federal Government opportunity in Surry Hills
  • 12-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • $43.82 per hour + super
 
Our Client is a Federal Government body that supports Australians and their families by valuing a positive contemporary attitude to disability. They are currently seeking APS4 Executive Assistant to join their Surry Hills Team to assist in providing executive level support as needed.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Completing operational and/or administrative tasks of moderate complexity or difficulty.
  • Diary and email management, responding to changing priorities and timeframes.
  • Preparing replies to correspondence, briefing material and handling confidential papers.
  • Scheduling meetings and preparing documentation for committees and projects.
  • Undertaking research and investigations as requested.
  • Coordinating official meetings, travel arrangements and official functions on behalf of the branch, Regional Manager, and other staff.
  • Providing high level administrative support on personnel and financial matters.
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Recent and relevant experience as an Executive Assistant, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence and arranging travel
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide information and advice to a range of stakeholders
  • Having a strong interest or previous experience with the Disability or community services Sector is advantageous
  • Baseline clearance is preferred but not essential
