Job description

We are seeking multiple Project Officers to join our client which is based in a Federal Government Department. This role will be at the APS4 equivalent, paying $43.82 per hour plus superannuation.

The Role

The APS4 Project Support Officer will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge and may undertake some research and analysis activities. You will be required to engage with internal and external stakeholders and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
  • Providing advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with data remediation and analysis on relevant project activities.
  • Assisting and supporting regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
  • Building rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of projects.
  • Managing, collating, interpreting and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning.
  • Undertaking project activities including related administrative tasks and functions.

  • Experience in managing administrative processes
  • Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with varied stakeholders
  • Experience with data manipulation and reporting
