Job description

  • Federal Government opportunities in Surry Hills
  • 18-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • APS5 - $55.24 per hour + super
  • APS6 - $60.26 per hour + super
 As an APS5 Program Support Officer, you will provide vital technical expertise across various programs and activities, contributing to the achievement of business unit outcomes.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and analysing data for internal and external communications
  • Maintaining process documentation and ensuring alignment with legislation and policy
  • Contributing to workforce planning data collation and audits
  • Applying innovation initiatives to improve service quality and efficiency
 Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in organization and time management
  • Experience in disability, health, or aged care sectors (preferred)
  • Case management experience is desirable
As an APS6 Program Support Officer, you will provide professional operational support and advice to enable high-standard service delivery and quality outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and managing staff responsible for business administration support
  • Providing accurate advice and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies
  • Coordinating data analysis and drafting high-level communications
  • Collecting and auditing workforce planning and capacity data
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Previous case management experience or education
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Team leadership experience with the ability to achieve high-level targets
  • Relevant experience within the health sector or working with people with disabilities
