We are seeking proactive, highly organised Project Officers to support and lead projects across a large, complex organisation. The successful candidates will coordinate and assist in strategic planning, program and project management, and contribute to delivering meaningful change for stakeholders.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Assist in project management and coordination activities, monitoring and reviewing program and project activities against plans.
- Contribute to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with organisational frameworks.
- Provide advice, procedural guidance, and technical expertise in specific areas of project work.
- Perform research and analysis, including preparing reports on relevant project activities.
- Contribute to regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.
- Draft a range of written materials, including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documentation.
- Monitor project budgets, review and report on expenditure, and assist with procurement and contract management.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and benefits.
- Contribute to project quality management to ensure deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project and business outcomes.
To be considered you will demonstrate;
- Strong understanding of project management frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Experience developing and maintaining project artefacts.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
- Experience initiating, establishing, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to apply judgement to resolve issues and make evidence-informed decisions.
- Experience understanding and applying privacy and accessibility guidelines.
- Well-developed Microsoft 365 skills (Word, PowerPoint, Planner).
- Flexible and responsive to changing requirements.
