The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an APS5 BI/Data Analyst to join a Federal Government Agency based in Richmond. This role will be a 12-month assignment and will be working Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
 
APS5 BI/Data Analyst will be working as a part of the Performance Management & Quality Branch providing high quality data and reporting and translating insights into measurable business performance improvements.
 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Monitoring and collating data and identifying and prioritising business demands.
  • Analysing trends and emerging issues.
  • Supporting the creation of dashboards across the branch to track key leading and lagging metrics.
  • Supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Providing support to team members and peers through collaboration and clear communication.
  • Supporting business continuity analysis, design, implementation, and validation activities.
 
To be considered for the role, you will demonstrate:
  • Essential Disability experience and knowledge
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis to data and reporting and undertake impact analysis of strategies.
  • Understand business process and workflow and impacts on data and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced SAS programming skills
  • Competent ability to utilise Salesforce Analytics Studio
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and be flexible to pivot to priorities.
