  • Onsite role (minimum 4 days per week in Newcastle office)

A Federal Government Agency is seeking an experienced APS5 Property Officer (Labour Hire) to join their Corporate, Information, and Property Services team. You will play a key role in coordinating property operations, managing site logistics, and providing policy advice. This is a hands-on role involving moderately complex tasks, stakeholder engagement, and independent decision-making.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor third-party providers for property and corporate services matters
  • Respond to property and corporate services enquiries from staff
  • Support team planning, task allocation, and workflow monitoring
  • Monitor and manage stationery and consumable stock levels across multiple sites
  • Develop and maintain carpark ballots and manage fleet vehicles
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Assist staff with fleet, mail, and other corporate operations matters
  • Provide advice and solutions for moderately complex to complex enquiries
Essential Criteria:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to organise workflow independently
  • Ability to provide policy advice based on policies and legislation
  • Able to undertake tasks using available information where options are not always clear
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Located in or near Newcastle and available onsite at least 4 days per week
  • Relevant experience in property or corporate services settings
