Job description

Our Federal Government client has an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinician where you will provide clinical care coordination and mental health support for their clients.

As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will deliver short term, goal oriented case management and brief interventions for clients with complex needs, helping reduce barriers to care and improve access to mental health support.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical case management, brief interventions, risk assessment & care planning
  • Engage with clients to address psychosocial needs and improve mental health outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support recovery focused care
  • Contribute to group programs, service promotion and quality assurance initiatives
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing training
 Mandatory Requirements:
  • Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with full registration with AHPRA, OR
  • Social Worker with AASW membership, OR
  • Master’s Degree in Counselling and registration with PACFA (Clinical) or ACA (Level 3/4)
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People/Children Check
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility for Baseline Clearance
 Successful Candidate will be offered:
  • $55 - $65 p/h + super
  • 12 month contract + potential extensions
