We have an exciting opportunity for an APS6 Copy Editor and Technical Writer to join a prominent organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Australians.

About the Role:
As an integral part of the Corporate Publications Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of essential corporate documents for our client. From crafting compelling content to ensuring adherence to government standards, your work will directly impact the quality and clarity of communication for a vital cause.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Copy editing and proofreading corporate documents
  • Ensuring adherence to department standards for accuracy and clarity
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and project managers
  • Creating technical guidance documents and procedural guides
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations of published content
  • Creating communication materials focusing on user experience
  • Assisting in report management processes and communications outputs
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in copy editing, technical writing, and proofreading
  • Knowledge of the Australian Government Style Manual
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively
  • Understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in stakeholder management and relationship-building
