  • APS6 level – $60.26/hr + Super (Multiple positions)
  • 12-month contract with possible extension

About the Team:

Join a collaborative workforce consultation team delivering high-impact change management initiatives across government functions. APS6 Project Officers provide operational support, research, reporting, and workforce planning to ensure project deliverables are met.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans and schedules
  • Provide specialist advice and technical expertise on workforce initiatives
  • Perform research, analysis, and prepare draft reports, business cases, and executive briefs
  • Monitor project budgets, assist with procurement, and manage risks, issues, and benefits
  • Contribute to project quality management and deliverables
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior government audiences
Essential Criteria:
  • High performance in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Project management and workforce consultation support
  • Research, report, and brief preparation
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience in a government department, agency, or public sector
  • Understanding of disability, health, allied health, or related sectors
