On behalf of a Government Agency based in Richmond we are looking for an experienced Risk Advisory Officer. This is a 12 month assignment, full time hours paying $58.50 per hour plus super.

The Role
As the risk officer you will be responsible for tasks including;
- Facilitate risk discussions and reviews with risk owners in line with the risk management framework
- Coordinate activities to remediate and close incidents
- Analyse trends in mitigating risks, including risk treatment plans used to minimise potential exposure and harness opportunities
- Provide input into the preparation of risk reporting
- Deliver risk management training and education programs across the business
- Foster relationships with risk and assurance teams to ensure appropriate management of shared risks and issues
- Provide admin support of the Integrated Risk Management System
About you
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience within a similar role in particular within public sector
- Demonstrated team player with the ability to provide a mentor role within the team
- Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and well developed written and oral communications
- Competent and experienced reporting to senior executives regarding risk issues
- Ability to respond and prioritise competing and often urgent requests
- Demonstrated experience working within a complex and rapidly changing environment
