Job description

An established Australian technology organisation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support and coordinate business operations within a growing, nationally distributed team. This is a senior operational role suited to a pragmatic leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on deliver. Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, ensure efficient business practices, and support the performance and development of staff. The role plays a key part in maintaining operational effectiveness, financial discipline and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate business operations to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and expenditure tracking
  • Monitor operational performance and contribute to reporting and analysis
  • Review and improve systems, processes and ways of working
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, recruitment and staff performance
  • Allocate work, monitor progress and support delivery of operational priorities
  • Promote consistent standards, quality and accountability across team
