Location: Fremantle, WA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: $85 per hour flat rate + super
Start Date: ASAP (notice periods considered)
Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extension

About the Role
Join a dynamic team within the Asset Management, Strategy & Planning division, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of infrastructure investment. This position is responsible for developing and delivering short, medium, and long-term asset investment plans, including maintenance and capital investments of up to $100 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver asset investment plans aligned with customer requirements.
  • Prepare and monitor asset investment planning and delivery.
  • Report on plan delivery and manage variations (change management).
  • Appraise investment options using whole life costing and financial modelling.
  • Initiate capital investment projects and prepare business cases.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Planning & Performance teams across asset investment planning.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or commercial discipline (desirable).
  • Proven experience in business case development, financial modelling, and asset investment proposals.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Maintenance Cloud and other Oracle systems (desirable).
  • Experience with port infrastructure (desirable).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles including DCF analysis and project valuation.
  • Skilled in numerical modelling for demand, operational, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas and develop compelling business cases.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
