Job description

On behalf of our Federal government client, we are looking for IAM Customer integration engineer at EL1 level at Sydney Surry Hills Locaiton.  This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing identity integration solutions to ensure seamless and secure access for external users within an Azure and AWS Cloud environment. The Senior Identity Integration Engineer collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements, architect robust solutions, and provide technical leadership in integrating customer identity systems and platforms with other systems and applications.


Key Responsibilties
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of identity integration solutions for customer identity systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Architect and configure identity integration components, ensuring alignment with security standards and compliance regulations.
  • Optimize integration solutions for scalability, performance, and reliability, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex identity integration issues and provide timely resolution within agreed service levels.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior integration engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in identity integration technologies and practices, and recommend improvements to existing solutions.

Key Skills:
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing identity integration solutions, preferably in a customer identity context.
  • Experience with identity integration platforms and tools, such as MuleSoft, Okta, Azure AD B2C, and AWS Cognito
  • Expertise in identity integration technologies and protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
  • Experience creating Infrastructure / Config as Code via Terraform
  • Extensive experience with CIAM products such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Akamai, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Git and building deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Experience deploying using Kubernetes and Containers.
  • Experience developing in Cloud Environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience programming in Java or Python is desirable.
