Job description

On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency we are looking for an experienced Network Architect. This is a 12 month assignment, working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week and can be based in Richmond or Geelong (hybrid arrangements available)

As a Network Architect you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Network Architect across design, development, architecture and management of large a distributed network platform. You will work collaboratively with ICT Operations and more broadly and be at the forefront of cloud technology and security.

You will act as a level 2/3 escalation point, as well as assist with key decisions on the development of the network stack. You will be comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical people and have the right attitude towards adopting new technologies and expanding your professional knowledge.

Key Skills

• Experience as a Network Architect or Cloud Architect
• Demonstrated experience working with various network vendors/providers, with project design and deployment experience
• Proven experience producing a range of documentation from simple work instructions to complex network designs and architecture documents
• A Bachelor degree or demonstrated professional experience in technology or a related field 
• Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems
• Experience with WIFI prediction and device placement desirable.
